"LIKE" Crochet by Sheri page on Facebook in order to see all of my items!

Okay, so this has blossomed into something cool.  YES, I DO SELL MY ITEMS, no longer is it just a blog thing for me:o)  Please check out my page on Facebook, Crochet by Sheri...there is a direct link to it at the top of this blog.  I update that much more than this blog and it is easier for me to take orders that way.  Here are a few pics of the popular "TEXTURED BRIMMED BEANIE" that can come with a button strap, flower, or shamrock (inspired by ND, go Irish!).  It fits loosely, not tight, perfect for quick in and out of cold weather while looking fashionable!  Remember, "like" me on Facebook if you enjoy my items, thanks!!

It has been FOREVER since I've posted something on my blog!  Truthfully, I only update my page on Facebook, "Crochet By Sheri" in Ft. Wayne, IN.  But, here are a few team hats I just finished recently. Although I've made so many other different team hats along the way, I've failed to take pics of them.  Here are three Purdue inspired hats and an Irish inspired brimmed textured beanie.

Preemie Beanies and Tooth Fairy Pouches!

It's been a long time since I've put up anything new on my blog.  That's because I primarily use my Crochet by Sheri page on Facebook.  But I have had many new items I've added.  The following are preemie button beanies for the boys and preemie rose beanies for the girls.  The following preemie beanies are going to be donated to a NICU on California in memory of one special little baby boy who had a short life, but was loved by his parents very much.  He received a few of my hats to keep his head warm....don't know his parents, but their story touched my heart.

And then these are my original tooth fairy pouch designs.  Funny story as to how I came up with this idea.  I didn't have anything for my son when he lost his first tooth, but he also literally LOST his first tooth.  He was crushed because "the tooth fairy can't come now".  So I made a special pouch to hang on the door (for "sneaky easy access" so that the tooth fairy wouldn't have trouble finding it), a larger back pocket to put notes to/from the tooth fairy or dollar bills, and a small white tooth pocket in the front that holds the tooth or coins.  I had a little too much fun coming up with my original tooth fairy pouch design, haha!

Baby Boy Barefoot Sandal

I'm excited to debut my first baby boy barefoot sandal design.  I just came up with the football pattern with a few trials and errors and it all came together.  I was going to try doing a solid/seamless strap in the back of the heel, but to be honest doing a tie will help it fit for a long time...so I'd consider this size newborn to 6 months, possibly 9 months depending on how chubby the foot might be.  More designs to come, but wanted to share this one.  As a mother of boys, I know how horrible it is to find cute things for them!

Koala hat w/ detachable pink bow

So I finally got a pic of the koala hat showing that it can be for a boy or girl.  And in this one, "it's a girl!" and I'm just thrilled to see how it turned out.  Thank you to Kera Cervoni Photography for sharing this photo with me!
