It has been FOREVER since I've posted something on my blog!  Truthfully, I only update my page on Facebook, "Crochet By Sheri" in Ft. Wayne, IN.  But, here are a few team hats I just finished recently. Although I've made so many other different team hats along the way, I've failed to take pics of them.  Here are three Purdue inspired hats and an Irish inspired brimmed textured beanie.

Preemie Beanies and Tooth Fairy Pouches!

It's been a long time since I've put up anything new on my blog.  That's because I primarily use my Crochet by Sheri page on Facebook.  But I have had many new items I've added.  The following are preemie button beanies for the boys and preemie rose beanies for the girls.  The following preemie beanies are going to be donated to a NICU on California in memory of one special little baby boy who had a short life, but was loved by his parents very much.  He received a few of my hats to keep his head warm....don't know his parents, but their story touched my heart.

And then these are my original tooth fairy pouch designs.  Funny story as to how I came up with this idea.  I didn't have anything for my son when he lost his first tooth, but he also literally LOST his first tooth.  He was crushed because "the tooth fairy can't come now".  So I made a special pouch to hang on the door (for "sneaky easy access" so that the tooth fairy wouldn't have trouble finding it), a larger back pocket to put notes to/from the tooth fairy or dollar bills, and a small white tooth pocket in the front that holds the tooth or coins.  I had a little too much fun coming up with my original tooth fairy pouch design, haha!

Baby Boy Barefoot Sandal

I'm excited to debut my first baby boy barefoot sandal design.  I just came up with the football pattern with a few trials and errors and it all came together.  I was going to try doing a solid/seamless strap in the back of the heel, but to be honest doing a tie will help it fit for a long time...so I'd consider this size newborn to 6 months, possibly 9 months depending on how chubby the foot might be.  More designs to come, but wanted to share this one.  As a mother of boys, I know how horrible it is to find cute things for them!

Koala hat w/ detachable pink bow

So I finally got a pic of the koala hat showing that it can be for a boy or girl.  And in this one, "it's a girl!" and I'm just thrilled to see how it turned out.  Thank you to Kera Cervoni Photography for sharing this photo with me!

My Fun Foot Fashion For Babies

I've always been inspired by the cute look of ballet slippers with the ties...so here's my idea of some cute slippers braided yarn ties and 3 pearls in the front.
Baby flip flops with stretchy strap around the heel.
This picture doesn't do these sandals justice.  Done in a deep black with a "roman style" heel and ties that happen on the outer sides for the ankles.  Then, lots of pretty pearls across the strap.  These are comfy, but very dressy looking.
Lil loafers done in a light blue w/ taupe trim and button closure.
My favorite baby loafers in a fun yellow and charcoal gray trim.  This pair has wooden buttons for the closure.
Another example of a "Roman style" sandal, but the ties are mean for the bows to be in the front, center.  Cute little purple flower and pearl center for the straps.
This is navy w/ gray color combo, lil loafers in a 3-6 month size this time.
All of these were recently added last night to my little collection at Pin-Up Curls hair salon off of Covington Rd.  These were so much fun to make.  Wish I could have babies again in order to try out all of my crochet stuff....but they somehow grew to 4 and 6 years old, a little late now:o(

My new BOOT CUFF design!!

I am very proud of my latest 2-in-1 design!!  It is adjustable by the feminine bow tie at the top in order to be worn as a boot cuff.....or as an ankle cuff--a cute little extension of a high heel or flat shoe.  The gray ones happen to have a couple buttons for that extra touch.  These are considered a "short" length, but I will be trying a longer version soon.   Did I mention how much fun I'm having?

Baby Koala

Another new creation...love this soft baby koala.  I also plan on making a detachable pink bow in case it's for a girl.  Cute stuff, a definite new favorite of mine!

Primrose Booties

Finally, things have slowed down for me....this is only a sneak peek of more cuteness to come!  What's to come you may ask?  Hmmmm, well okay, maybe just one more slip:  I've been creating my own pattern for boot cuffs that can be worn 3 different ways.  Yep, having a blast right now!

Lil Shoes

Now this is something I've been putting off trying to make just because I thought it was going to be soooooo hard:o)  Me?  Intimidated by baby shoes?  Not now, haha.  These are definitely boy looking, but I know I can probably figure out Mary Jane styles for baby girls too.  Just by changing the colors I bet it would totally change the looks.  Oh, and for girls I could add flowers and straps.....options are limitless!!

First attempt at a new pattern for Chinstrap Pixie Hats

I have seen this cute hat many times and finally decided to buy the pattern because I think it's perfect for framing little newborn faces:o)  The colors can reflect girls for "pixies" or boys for "gnomes".  There is a cute button on the side that you can't see in this pic, but it adds some extra cuteness.  I'm sure I'll add more accents i.e. flowers in the future, but this simple version is clean and frames her face beautifully for this newborn photo.  Very easy to follow pattern, it can be found at  http://www.etsy.com/shop/upabove
Thanks to Up Above Creations!  Love this hat!

Another 2 Strand Angel Hair Headband w/ a Pearly Rose

Nothing like starting little girls off young with headbands and pearls!

Pom Pom Hat

This was my first time using Alpaca yarn and I love it.  Very soft!  Our friends had their first child and I wanted to make something special for little Sophia--obviously, Sophia makes the hat look even cuter!  Loved her cheeks:o)

Headbands, here I come!

My latest favorite.....2 strand all cream headband w/ pearly cream rose.

3 strand headband with pearly flower.
My 2 in 1 headband....can be used as a necklace with a cute bow tie in the back as a little decoration as well.
Crocheted pearl flower on a clip.

Fashion wristlets for that added touch of style and warmth.

Happy Heart Headbands, Love Valentine's Day!

My latest version of headbands, oh so cute!  I don't know why but I've always loved Valentine's Day.  In honor of February, here are some adorable hearts with pearls at the center to add a little extra cuteness:o)
