I don't even know what to call this hat....any ideas?

A hat pattern I just made up for my two little nieces in Texas, as we know they have really cold weather there........not really.  But they did get snow this year, so that does qualify as a need for a hat!  I wanted to make something "airy", with holes.  Feel free to give me ideas for what to call this style of hat.

I am looking forward to making a child sized brim hat for a little girl.  This hat is so fun to wear, especially on bad hair days!  Working on making cute newsboy caps for boys......more boy hats to come soon!

I made these for a friend at work who is a Colts fan, big time.  We had no idea what she was going to have so I made a newborn Colts hat for boy or girl.  She had a boy!!  :o)

This hat was designed by the daughter of one of my co-workers.  She wanted an ear flapper hat so bad--I think she came up with a gorgeous design!
